The aim of this part is to introduce the students with flying systems, give an experience of flying paper planes and introducing them to different types of paper planes.

EXPLAIN HOW IT CAN FLY BETTER (15 mins) 

Students will probably for the first time understand the science behind making a paper plane.

➔ Improve upon the design of the paper planes and see if they fly better 

INTRODUCE AEROMODELLING (10 mins) 

By understanding the science behind making paper planes, students can be introduced to the terms aeromodelling and aerodynamics. These terms will be used a lot in future lessons.

➔ All the improvements in the designs which make the planes to fly better should converge to the concept of aerodynamics and aeromodelling
